In my opinion Tintin was the antithesis of racism growing up reading stuff like the use of foriegn languages in the text, although in recent times having access to old versions of the same books, I can see some differentiation is needed in discussing the artwork representations of people in different print years of the same books. Was Herge racist? How should Tintin be viewed? Is this offensive or overly politically correct? What now is this PC yet discriminating world...
